I think another good title for this blog would have been, “Thou Shalt Not Lie.”  But the reality is this blog is geared specifically to Atheists and their willingness to lie to promote their beliefs.  As far as Christians are concerned, well, we all know it is wrong to lie (At least, Christians do.).  The Bible makes it plain and clear that all liars will go to hell, Revelation 21:8.  Don’t you remember that children’s song from Rev. 21:8?  Especially the ending that reveals what will happen eternally to those who lie and repent not, “burn, burn, burn…burn, burn, burn.”

Yes, Christians have an objective standard!!!  (Actually, everyone will be judged by this standard.)  It is the word of God.  And God’s word teaches us that we need to conform back to the image of God, Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 3:18.  And since God does not lie, Numbers 23:19.  Then those of us, who strive to conform to His image, lie not!  Even if a Christian, in a moment of weakness, thinks good might come from lying, we LIE NOT, because God’s word teaches that those who do evil that good may come about will be damned, Romans 3:8.  So, no, Christians don’t lie.  Because a Christian’s life is programmed by God’s word.  And our conscience will not let us lie, even if we think some good might come about.  Because, we have a goal in mind, and we can’t get there being big fat liars!

What about atheists?  Since, they deny the Bible is an objective standard.  Since they claim morality is determined by what they determine to be the greater good.  Can an atheist lie, and do so with a clear conscience, if they think greater good would come from it?  The answer is yes!  Many atheists believe that Christianity and the Bible are harmful.  Many believe that children are being abused by parents who teach their children God’s precepts.  And, a true atheist, who believes that morality is determined by what the greater good might be, will have no problem lying to promote their doctrines today.  Because, you see, it is the greater good.  Thus, according to atheists, it is not wrong to be a big fat liar, if what I determine to be a greater good might come about.

It is just not lying that atheists would do for the “greater good.”  If they believed that killing 100,000 souls in Beaumont would save every other life in America.  Those of you in Beaumont, well, it was nice knowing you.  You see, you would be killed for the greater good, and to atheists that would be completely moral and justifiable.  What about rape?  Same thing!  If they believed by raping someone they could save more, they would!  I know that sounds harsh.  I know many atheists would not like and would hate to commit rape.  But then again, some atheist like author Sam Harris, believe, “there is, after all, nothing more natural than rape.”  Thus with many atheists, if they felt they were in a position to bring about greater good by raping someone, he would be obliged to rape, and wrong not to rape.  Because it is the “moral” and “natural” thing to do.

In saying all this…knowing a true atheist would lie, rape and kill for what they deem to be, the greater good to come about; How can anyone believe, anything atheists say about evolution, and atheism today.  When they firmly believe it would be acceptable to lie and misrepresent the facts to get you, to turn from what they believe to be a book full of lies, a book that has caused more heartache than good on earth.  By their belief of morality, they are required to lie to convert you!

What about Islam?  They believe the same as atheists.  Islam does condemn lying, but yet at the same time, Islam gives acceptable reasons for lying.  Please note this written by Afif A. Tabbarah, an Islamic scholar, in “The spirit of Islam,” on page 247, Tabbarah stated: “Lying is not always bad, to be sure; there are times when telling a lie is more profitable and better for the general welfare, and for the settlement of conciliation among people, than telling the truth. To this effect, the Prophet says: ‘He is not a false person who (through lies) settles conciliation among people, supports good or says what is good.”  So, then, as a person they deem an infidel, how can I believe anything they tell me?  When Islamic Scholars, based off the Koran, firmly teach if it is profitable to lie, then lie!  (Qur’an 16:106; 3:28; 2:225; 66:2.)

Friends, beware, False teachers, lie, 2 Corinthians 11:13; Jeremiah 14:4; 23:26; Romans 16:18.  Moslems are allowed to lie if it is profitable in certain situations.  And with atheism, it would be wrong not to lie, if what they deem to be “greater good” could come from the lie.  Beware!  And remember.  When it comes to what you read or hear about atheism and evolution.  Many of them have what they believe to be a moral responsibility to lie to convince you they are right.
